The Rietvlei Soccer School was established in 2016 and offers weekly soccer lessons with professional football coaches at the Rietvlei Soccer Astro & Grass Fields located at Rietvlei Zoo Farm.
Rietvlei Soccer School (RSS) strives to positively improve youth football within the Johannesburg South area, using unique football programmes, focusing on individual technique and tactic training. Our lessons have been carefully designed to ensure that they are fun, age related and ensure individual growth, with specific goals, a developing player that will stand out from the rest.
SOCCER LESSONS AT THE ASTRO & GRASS FIELDS
The soccer school offers soccer lessons daily from Monday to Saturday for boys and girls ages 3 to 18 years. The soccer lessons focus on teaching the following fundamentals of football: passing and receiving, dribbling, finishing and agility, balance and co-ordination. We encourage a fun and safe learning environment for our football players under the guidance of our SAFA & CAF accredited youth football coaches, who share a love for the game with a passion for youth development.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Kids can have their Birthday Parties at Rietvlei Soccer Astro Fields. Our coaches arrange fun soccer games and ball activities and mini matches from 1 to 3 hours.
SOCCER FESTIVALS
We can host and manage Soccer Tournaments for Youth ages 6 to 19 years and for Adult Soccer Tournaments. The Festivals can be organized, run and managed by our coaches for Youth Days, Special Occasions and Events and for Fundraisers.
